Where is a good place to kitesurf from May through August?
I am graduating in May and I want to take a summer and Kitesurf where the wind is consistent and fun. I am open to all types of places, but if I had my pick I would like to goto a Spanish speaking beach with travelers that come and go. I am happy to live in or around a city but again would prefer a more mellow type area with a solid Kiter community.
Also, I have done a lot of handyman/landscaping work to get me through college and am an accomplished entrepreneur that has worked as a consultant for multiple small businesses to help them become more efficient and grow very quickly. I would LOVE to get a job and work my way through the summer wherever I stay and am quite versatile and hardworking.
Anyone have any thoughts of a place that would be fun to live and work for a few months?
Thanks!
SOO many places , so little time.
May to August
Maui is good , can get pretty windy.
South of Spain , Tarifa is great , but can get very crowded in July/August .
Canary Islands , Fuertevertura – the north is fantastic , as well as Lanzarote .
They were all great . The Canaries are quite easy for work , so is Maui if you go in May.
